It’s more than making a career change. It’s helping to reform the justice system.
“There are so many opportunities to get involved in different areas of work, develop different skills and grow your knowledge in an area you didn’t even know you were interested in.”Louise, Change Delivery Team
If you’re keen to learn, grow and contribute, this is the place to do it.
As one of the largest, most exciting government departments, we offer complexity, scale and a variety of roles beyond conventional HR.
We’re also looking for project and change management, behavioural insight and analysis and diversity and inclusion professionals and more.
You don’t need an HR background to join us. Our teams come from all kinds of professional backgrounds and all walks of life. If you can communicate and empathise with people, that’s the most important thing. And if you’re proactive and open-minded, inquisitive, and willing to learn, this could be for you. We’ll support you to learn the rest as you go along.
It’s also vital that our justice system is as diverse as the society we serve and we recognise the unique contribution a diverse workforce brings in helping us deliver excellent services. We welcome and encourage applications from candidates from all different backgrounds, life experiences, characteristics or communities to hopefully join us and be part of our story.
“We help people to be as good as they can be at their jobs. Whatever we can do to help their employment experience to be better, that’s where I get my satisfaction.”
“It’s about prison officers, probation officers, everybody in the MoJ having their lives made that bit easier, and being able to deliver what the MoJ is expected to do. And that can only have a good impact on the general population, because it’s all about reform and making the world a better place. We get to be part of it, and that’s a great reason to be passionate about a project.”Louise, Change Delivery Team
